Real Life Up – House Floats with Balloons
The National Geographic thought it would be cool to see if it was possible to make a house lift off from earth using balloons (just like in the Disney Pixar movie, UP). So the crew of National Geographic’s How Hard Can it Be spent two weeks testing the scenario. And in the end? “We have liftoff”. That’s right, they actually got a 2,000 pound house, in a real-life “UP” scenario, to float using only balloons. Here’s the video:

Woman Creates Real Life Pixar Up Scene
(Pixar Up Video) This is an amateur video where a woman blows up dozens of colorful balloons, attaches them to a miniature “Up” house she built, then sends it into the sky. She attaches a camcorder to the string to film the flight. It’s quite entertaining that her obsession with Pixar’s Up movie leads her to create this elaborate recreation until her balloons, house, and video camera end up in a treetop and have to be brought down by large machinery.
