Girl vs Lion at Wellington Zoo in New Zealand
In New Zealand a girl and lion are facing off with safety glass in-between them. The lion towers over the girl even though she is standing and he is sitting. After a few moments the lion lunges its paws at the glass, pawing real quick trying to get to the girl. Most news casts proclaim the girl to be brave and not flinch, but to us she appears to be stunned as it happens so quick. Either way, the girl, the lion and New Zealand’s Wellington Zoo are now Internet sensations thanks to this lion vs. girl video.

Lion Walks Up to Camera Crewman

Christian the Lion Documentary Video
(Christian the Lion Video) As a result of Oprah featuring the story of Christian the Lion, many people are getting a first look at this truly inspirational story. Christian the Lion was rescued by two humans who raised it until it got too big. They then released Christian into the wild in Africa. A year later they went back in search of Christian after being warned the lion was now wild and might not recognize them. A filmmaker documented what happened when the lion saw them for the first time in a year, after becoming leader of his Pride and adapting to the wild. That video is below. There’s also a book about Christian titled “A Lion Called Christian: The True Story of the Remarkable Bond between Two Friends and a Lion.”
