Kids Produce Raiders of the Lost Ark Adaptation Scene for Scene
(YouTube Really Cool Videos) In 1982, three kids from Mississippi got together and decided to recreate the Indiana Jones movie, Raiders of the Lost Ark, scene by scene. Seven years later, they completed their quest. You can read about the journey in a Vanity Fair article, written in 2004, titled Raiders of the Lost Backyard. You can see the first several minutes of the movie (up to the rolling ball scene) below. What makes this really cool is that three kids did it over a seven year period in the 1980′s without access to elaborate video production equipment. It was a passion that was seen through to completion. The video quality may not be that great, but the recreation is pretty darn nice…
