Thor Spoofs Darth Vader Kid Commercial

The #1 ranked Superbowl Commercial was one that featured a kid dressed as Darth Vader trying to use the force (click here to see commercial). The commercial emerged as the highest rated and favorite among Superbowl viewers. So it was only a matter of time before a clever spoof emerged to capture some of the attention. Paramount Pictures, the movie company behind the upcoming Thor movie (see Thor Movie Trailer here) has created a clever and fun spoof of the famous Darth Vader Kid commercial and so far it is working out. Funny Darth Vader Kid Volkswagen TV Commercial

Big companies are starting to discover that the key to a successful TV commercial isn’t to get it on TV, but rather to get it to go viral online. And you do that by putting together a creative force that knows what the public will love. Yesterday Volkswagen released a new TV commercial online (hint: you may see it this weekend on TV) that has more than 3 million views in less than 24 hours. The name of the TV commercial is “The Force” and it stars a kid dressed in a Darth Vader outfit that is trying real hard to get the force to work on objects in the house to no avail. It’s quite creative:

Darth Vader Captures Princess Leia on Subway Car

(Funny Star Wars Videos) Improv Everywhere is a group that puts together elaborate productions then carries them out in the public while videotaping. A couple of their past big ones include “Frozen in Grand Central Station” and “Food Court Musical“, In this video, the gang at Improv Everywhere put together a Star Wars stunt in the New York Subway. Princess Leia boards a Subway car, holding a book called Galactic Rebellion for Dummies – Princess Edition. She’s minding her own business when, at the next stop, some Storm Troopers board. The Subway car goes back in motion and the Storm Troopers find Princess Leia, grab her, and take her to the Subway door. At the next stop, Darth Vader boards and the two confront each other. What makes this (and other Improv Everywhere videos) so great is that the people in the Subway car are not in on the joke. They have no idea what is happening and yet enjoy it immensely.
