Dog Senses Earthquake
(Interesting Videos) Today our hearts go out to the victims of the Earthquake in Haiti. It’s always very sad when a disaster of this magnitude hits and there is a major loss of life. It’s nice that here are ways that people like us, not in the area, can help (i.e. contributions of food or money to disaster relief organizations like the Red Cross).
The video below is interesting in that it shows a dog sensing the Earthquake in Northern California that happened on January 9. There’s always been theories about animals knowing when a disaster is about to strike, but rarely is that theory caught on video. This was from a security camera. As you see the dog is laying down peacefully, but suddenly jumps and bolts out of the room. The owner goes chasing the dog and seconds later, the Earthquake strikes…
