Born This Way Song Parody by Weird Al
The following “Born this Way” Parody by Weird Al, titled “Perform this Way” has been in the news quite a bit lately. Apparently Weird Al Yancovic created the spoof in hopes of including it on one of his upcoming album. Weird Al is known for creating parodies of popular songs. He’s also known for seeking permission from the original singer/songwriter to include it on his album, even though he doesn’t need to. So Weird Al forwarded the “Perform this Way” song to Lady Gaga’s manager for her permission to use the “Born this Way” parody on his next album. Weird Al was told by the manager that Lady Gaga rejected the idea. So Weird Al dropped plans to include it on his next album and, instead, released the song on YouTube along with a note that Lady Gaga rejected his overture to include it on his next album with proceeds going to charity. That stirred the publicity of the song and rejection and soon Lady Gaga announced that she had not heard the song because her manager never gave it to her and acted on his own when telling Weird Al it was rejected. Lady Gaga said she loved the song and Weird Al could include it on his next album.

The guy in this video, Sergio, knows how to play the Saxophone… well… let’s clarify that. He knows how to play one song on the Saxophone and he does it well. That song is George Michael’s “Careless Whisper”. In this video, Sergio goes around to different places playing Careless Whisper until he gets into trouble. The thing is that because he is good at it, the general public is entertained by his antics while security isn’t.
