Real Life Up – House Floats with Balloons
The National Geographic thought it would be cool to see if it was possible to make a house lift off from earth using balloons (just like in the Disney Pixar movie, UP). So the crew of National Geographic’s How Hard Can it Be spent two weeks testing the scenario. And in the end? “We have liftoff”. That’s right, they actually got a 2,000 pound house, in a real-life “UP” scenario, to float using only balloons. Here’s the video:

A few days we shared with you two Live Action Mario Kart videos where a guy dresses up like Mario and drives a Mario-type car around getting into trouble. Monopoly Live – Monopoly Gets Major Makeover
One of my favorite board games of all time is Monopoly. I used to play in kid organized tournaments and it was quite a blast. Through the years there have been some variations of Monopoly, including “Electronic Monopoly”. However, there has never been a major makeover like the one Monopoly has just undergone. In Fall 2011, Hasbro will be releasing “Monopoly Live” to the public and it includes infra-red technology, horse races, and cab rides all controlled by a massive tower brain in the center of the board.
