Girl vs Lion at Wellington Zoo in New Zealand
In New Zealand a girl and lion are facing off with safety glass in-between them. The lion towers over the girl even though she is standing and he is sitting. After a few moments the lion lunges its paws at the glass, pawing real quick trying to get to the girl. Most news casts proclaim the girl to be brave and not flinch, but to us she appears to be stunned as it happens so quick. Either way, the girl, the lion and New Zealand’s Wellington Zoo are now Internet sensations thanks to this lion vs. girl video.

Porcupine Loves Corn on the Cob – Doesn’t Want to Share
This is a cute and funny video of a porcupine at a traveling zoo that loves corn on the cob so much that it doesn’t want to share it. When the zoo keeper tries to take the corn away, the porcupine starts talking (chattering) and holds on tight. The name of the porcupine is “Teddy Bear”. The zoo (called Zooniversity) is unique in that it travels to different places in Texas, bringing animals to the people versus people visiting a zoo site.

Save the Tasmanian Devil Video
The Tasmanian Devil is expected to become extinct within 15 years if more isn’t done to help save the animals. In the wild the Tasmanian Devil can only be found in Australia (currently suffering from massive floods, which doesn’t help the population) and the island state of Tasmania.
