Sewer Geyser Destroys Car in Canada
Imagine that you’ve parked your car on the side of the road and when you come back to it a couple of hours later, the car is on the sidewalk and the back of it is completely destroyed. Someone tries to convince you that it was a geyser coming out of the sewer hole you were parked over. Obviously you’d have a hard time believing him, except he has the video to prove it. This is one of the strangest videos you’ll see of a geyser shooting out from a sewage manhole, having fun with a car. It happened in Montreal, Canada.

Amateur Video Footage of Good Year Blimp Accident
Yesterday we shared a serious video of the Good Year Blimp accident. We posted a new video and an interview done just over a month ago with the pilot. Today we have some amateur footage to share with you of the accident. You just never hear of Good Year Blimps – or Zeppelins – catching on fire these days. They are extremely safe. I’ve even been up in one and took quite a bit of great aerial footage. So I was stunned to hear of this accident. What didn’t stun me was the heroic efforts of the pilot to sacrifice his life while saving the lives of his passengers. Mike Nerandzic is a true hero in every sense of the word.
Below is amateur footage of the blimp on fire. This footage starts after the passengers are already safe and the blimp has shot way up into the air. There’s speculation as to how/why that happened. Some say the lost of weight when the passengers jumped off caused the Good Year Blimp to surge upwards and others say the pilot took it up to get it away from the passengers after they jumped to safety.

Heroic Pilot Dies in Good Year Blimp that Catches Fire
Note: As we do time to time, we post videos of interest that are not funny. In this case, the video is one of a heroic pilot who saved the lives of three people on a Good Year Blimp. Here’s the story.
The pilot of a Good Year Blimp flying in Oberursel, Germany, is being hailed as a hero as he lowered the burning blimp close enough to the ground for passengers to jump off before the blimp rapidly climbed again with the pilot still on board. The 53-year old pilot died in the fire.
The three passengers were journalists that were taking photos as part of Germany’s Hessentag celebration. The pilot navigated the burning blimp to within 7-10 feet of the ground, then yelled for the journalists to jump. When they all jumped to safety, the loss of weight caused the blimp to shoot upward, making it impossible for the pilot to escape. Our thoughts are with the family of the pilot – a true hero for saving the lives of his passengers. The pilot was Australian Mike Nerandzic.

Nitro Circus Rider Flips in Air – Bike Doesn’t
Stunts at things like X-Games and Nitro Circus are getting more and more complex and dangerous. Take, for example, this stunt that is pulled off by BMX rider “Special Greg”. It’s one of the most amazing bike jump tricks we’ve seen (and it’s real – no April Fools joke).
